Boy Scout Troop 116, Charlotte, NC,
sponsored by St. John's Episcopal Church
is one of the strongest troops in the Mecklenburg County Council.
Since being chartered in April, 1962,
Troop 116 has consistently gone on numerous outings and
special High Adventure expeditions,
had well over 200 Eagle Scouts, and earned the right to call itself: |

This Web site was designed and originally published in 1995 by Bob Kearley, and later enhanced by Charlie Love,
Troop 116 Eagle Scouts #114 and #111. As one of the first Boy Scout troop Web sites in the world, it was hosted for its first five years by Charlotte's Web,
an innovator in community Internet services, administered by the staff and volunteers at the Public Library of Charlotte and Mecklenburg County.
Since 2000, hosting and technical services have been generously provided by Spencer Love, Love Web Wiz, a friend of the Troop.

Scouting for Food, Sat. Feb. 4, 10 am-12 noon. Bring your bags of canned goods and other non-perishables
to the Scout Hut to be collected and weighed.

Scout Sunday, Feb. 6, 8:30 am meet at St. John's in the Entry Way with your Official Scout Dress Uniform (Class A with Merit Badge Sash)
to be in the Processional. All Troop members will attend the 8:45 service.
